Shipping Policy
At TheIndiaBazaar.com; shipping rates, methods, and terms are set by individual sellers, not by TheIndiaBazaar.com. When you purchase from multiple sellers in one order, shipping charges are charged by all individual sellers as items are shipped by individual sellers. The total shipping charges will appear on your order summary page when you are ready to make your purchase.
Before you order, you may find shipping information from individual sellers by visiting their respective seller information page. Go to the product details page and click on the link "sold & shipped by" to view shipping information from any seller.
Shipping Cost
Shipping costs depend on the options you choose, the size and weight of the item, and where the order is going. Each seller defines their own shipping rates which could be based on order total, weight or individual product. Generally, shipping rates start at $5.50 / lbs in USA and Rs. 75.00 / lbs in India .
The actual total shipping cost is calculated at the time of checkout.
When you purchase from multiple sellers in one checkout process, shipping charges are charged by all individual sellers as items are shipped by individual sellers.
Shipping Destination
TheIndiaBazaar.com only allows sellers to ship orders nationally within India and USA. If you want your order to be shipped within USA, you can only purchase from sellers in USA and similary if you want your order shipped in India, you can only purchase from sellers in India. This is to reduce delivery time, expedite your order, easy gifting and provide the best customer service.
If you live in USA and want to send a gift to someone in India, you can certainly purchase from sellers in India and get it shipped anywhere in India and vice versa.
Delivery Time
Sellers agree to ship within 2 to 3 business days of your purchase. Below are the guidelines of delivery time.
Standard Shipping (India or U.S.): 4 to 10 business days after shipping (may take up to 14 business days)
Expedited Shipping (India or U.S.): 2 to 5 business days after shipping
Shipping times are not guaranteed and the actual time varies by seller.
Should you have any questions about your shipment, please contact your seller directly.
Order Tracking
When your order is shipped by the seller, the seller marks your order as "complete" and provides a tracking number. This automatically sends an email to you which contains tracking information. Alternately, you can go to "My Account", view the order you have questions about and check the tracking information at the bottom of the order.
Each seller may choose to use a different shipping carrier. Generally, order within USA are shipped using USPS, UPS, Fedex or DHL and orders within India are shipped using a nationally renowned courier service.
Undelivered Package
In case a package is returned back to the seller undelivered, it is upto the seller to notify TheIndiaBazaar.com to issue a refund. The seller may choose to deduct the shipping charges.
